Wowowee host, where is he now?

Since Saturday, I haven’t seen Willie Revillame in Wowowee. Is it because of what he did and said during the funeral march of our late president Cory Aquino, last August 5?

Let me inform you of what he said, “I am asking forgiveness to those who were offended. I hope you understand I had no intention to offend. If there are people who were offended, I apologize. For myself, my intention there was to give respect and make the occasion a solemn one.

My intention there was not to disrespect the former president but to give respect. Sana lang po ay habang nagluluksa tayo ay hindi kami nakikitang nagsasaya, parang hindi kami nakikidalamhati.

Kung ako’y hindi nila wine-welcome at sa tingin ko ho na ako’y hindi na welcome sa bawa’t Pilipino, sa araw-araw na gusto nila makasama, ako po’y aalis na sa programa.”

In my own opinion, I really do understand what he mentioned during his show. He just wanted to pay respect to Tita Cory. He can’t take to be happy, joke around and have some fun while he sees the casket of the icon of democracy. It’s very hard for him to stay joyful during that day, I can feel it because I also love Tita Cory — that’s why he requested not to please air the funeral march from manila cathedral to the cemetery while his show is on-going. I really do understand his sentiments… Abs-cbn network even televiewers know that Wowowee is a variety show, it’s not good to see everybody in the show dancing,singing and playing games while inserting the funeral march, for what I really believe. He did say that not because he wanted the attention of everybody nor to disgrace our loving late president Cory Aquino but because he really DO respect her… I hope anytime soon he’ll be back in Wowowee. The show is not complete without him. I know Tita cory would be happier to see the host of Wowowee back in the show.

SNN without Kris Aquino

I’ve been watching SNN for a couple of nights but unfortunately I wasn’t able to see Ms. Kris Aquino. Oww, I miss her a lot already! Maybe she’s taking care of her mom in the hospital. Let’s just all pray for the fast recovery of our former president Cory Aquino so everything will get back to normal. We miss and love you Ms. Kris & we will continue praying for your mom. Godbless you & your family. =)

“Umagang Kay Ganda” celebrates their 2nd year anniversary…

ABS-CBN’s morning show “Umagang Kay Ganda” celebrates their 2nd year on television.

The anchors Pinky Webb, Alex Santos, Anthony Taberna, Kim Atienza, Bernadette Sembrano, Donita Rose, Winnie Cordero, and Rica Peralejo reminisced the show’s beginnings and looked back at their most memorable experiences on the program.

Before the show ends, they also playeds game like “pansit” eating contest and Kim Atienza won the game.

But wait, where’s Edu MAnzano? Why was he not in the show?

Kris Aquino thanks nation for prayers for her mom

Yesterday on “The Buzz”, Kris sheds tears as she thanked all those who are constantly praying for the fast recovery of her mother — our former president Corazon Aquino, who is battling colon cancer.

Kris commented about her mom, “She is comfortable. She is not in pain. And to this day she makes us feel so loved and appreciated. Sa gitna po ng iyak at luha nakakangiti po kami dahil mahal ninyo ang nanay namin at wala na kaming mahihiling pa.”

She also added, “We know that whatever will happen is part of God’s will. He has been good to us particularly my family kasi nabigyan niya kami ng pagkakataon na maiparamdam sa mom namin kung gaano namin siya kamahal and how much people really love her.”

She claimed that we all need to pray for each other, and also confirmed that former president would remain hospitalized at the Makati Medical Center due to a fluid buildup in her stomach that made it difficult for her to eat.

“On behalf of the Aquino family, on behalf of my mother, maraming maraming salamat po,” she said.

“WE ARE 1” album

Kris Aquino together with her two-year old son, Baby James made a two-disc musical, educational, and entertaining album entitled “We are 1” under Star Records. It features musics that could help the bonding of mom and child more loving and caring.

The difference of their musical CDs to other, is that Kris and Baby James’s participation in the album is not by rendering songs but by sharing mother and son bonding moments, as well as educating kids.

The album is considered as a mother & child bonding musical, entertaining and educational record. Aside from teaching kids the alphabet, numbers, shapes, body parts, animals and colors, it also tries to instill family values.

The album features celebrity guests such as Zaijian’s Jaranilla also known as Santino, young singer Rhap Salazar, multi-platinum artist Aiza Seguerra, Ultimate Heartthrob Piolo Pascual, and Mr. Pure Energy Gary Valenciano..

Ruffa & Annabelle Rama’s reconciliation during the wake of Douglas Quijano

During the wake of Douglas Quijano at Heritage Park Taguig, Annabelle Rama and her daughter Ruffa Gutierrez bumped with each other. According to Annabelle, she wanted to attend the wake late at night for her not to see her daughter around. But with Tito Dougs’ peacemaking skill, he let Ruffa went to his wake and had the initiative to say sorry to her mom, Annabelle Rama.

Because of what happen to the wake, some reporters asked for Eddie Gutierrez’ comment and he said “I’m happy that everybody is doing well, and Annabelle and Ruffa is now at peace w/ each other. I hope it stays that way.”

Kris Aquino on Wowowee

“Wowowee” host Willie Revillame has been confined at St. Luke’s Medical Hospital again but not because of his heart condition but due to pneumonia. Due to his condition he asked Ms. Kris Aquino to temporarily take over to host Wowowee and she gladly accepted the offer.

Today, I’ve watched Wowowee and saw Ms. Kris Aquino looking beautiful in blue elegant dress and so “kikay” talaga. When she interviewed one of the contestants in “Hep Hep Hooray” named Tom (he’s gay), I really laughed out loud when she asked Tom if he’s wearing short under his pink tight dress. Tom replied “yes” but Kris insisted no, he’s not! To make sure she’s right, she asked Pokwang and Mariel to find out if he’s really wearing short. Hahaha, she was right… Two thumbs-up for you!
