Even if it’s hard to admit, the finale of ABSCBN’s Teleserye Tayong Dalawa will be shown next week.
Surely I’m gonna miss all these cast …
especially the character of these two … for exemplifying their roles perfectly!
Good thing, even if “Tayong Dalawa” is coming to an end,Coco Martin has new teleserye project “Nagsimula sa Puso” where he will portray the role of Carlo, a quiet young man who has a deep concern to his family.
Definitely, I will wait for this teleserye. 🙂
LOS ANGELES – Michael Jackson’s mother and children are receiving more than $86,000 every month from the late pop star’s estate, according to court documents released here Thursday.
Under allowances approved by Los Angeles Superior Court judge Mitchell Beckloff, Jackson’s mother Katherine is paid a monthly sum of $26,000 while the singer’s three children receive $60,000.
The allowances were confirmed at a hearing in August but the amounts had not previously been disclosed.
The administrators of Jackson’s estate had requested a special allowance for the star’s mother, noting that the 79-year-old’s only other source of income was her pension.
Jackson, 50, died on June 25 after consuming a lethal cocktail of powerful prescription drugs. His death is being treated as a homicide.
Jackson, one of the most influential figures in pop music history whose four-decade career included the highest-selling album of all-time, “Thriller,” had been preparing for a July concert comeback at the time of his death.

What would life be like without onions? The onion has been used as an ingredient in various dishes by many cultures around the world. They are commonly used to flavor dips, salads, soups, spreads, stir-fry and other recipes.
Actually, I’ve been using onion for my dishes. Although sometimes I cut bulb onion & save the other half for later. But after reading this info, I should be cautious…. I received this article from a concerned friend & I want to share this, so you should be aware, also!!!

Watch out for those spoiled onions…
I had the wonderful privilege of touring Mullins Food Products, makers of
mayonnaise. Mullins is huge, and is owned by 11 brothers and sisters in the Mullins
family. My friend, Jeanne, is the CEO.
Questions about food poisoning came up, and I wanted to share what
I learned from a chemist.
The guy who gave us our tour is named Ed. He’s one of the brothers.
Ed is a chemistry expert and is involved in developing most of the sauce
formula. He’s even developed sauce formula for McDonald’s.
Keep in mind that Ed is a food chemistry whiz. During the tour, someone
asked if we really needed to worry about mayonnaise. People are always
worried that mayonnaise will spoil. Ed’s answer will surprise you.
Ed said that all commercially-made Mayo is completely safe.
“It doesn’t even have to be refrigerated. No harm in refrigerating
it, but it’s not really necessary.” He explained that the pH in mayonnaise
is set at a point that bacteria could not survive in that environment. He
then talked about the quint essential picnic, with the bowl of potato
salad sitting on the table and how everyone blames the mayonnaise when
someone gets sick.
Ed says that when food poisoning is reported, the first thing the
officials look for is when the ‘victim’ last ate ONIONS and where those
onions came from (in the potato salad?).
Ed says it’s not the mayonnaise (as long as it’s not homemade Mayo) that
spoils in the outdoors.
It’s probably the onions, and if not the onions, it’s the POTATOES. He
explained, onions are a huge magnet for bacteria, especially uncooked onions.
You should never plan to keep a portion of a sliced onion. He says it’s
not even safe if you put it in a zip-lock bag and put it in your refrigerator. It’s already
contaminated enough just by being cut open and out for a bit, that it can be a danger to
you (and doubly watch out for those onions you put in your hotdogs at the
baseball park!)
Ed says if you take the leftover onion and cook it like crazy you’ll
probably be okay, but if you slice that leftover onion and put
on your sandwich, you’re asking for trouble. Both the onions and the moist
potato in a potato salad, will attract and grow bacteria faster than any
commercial mayonnaise will even begin to break down.
So, how’s that for news? Take it for what you will. I (the author) am going
to be very careful about my onions from now on. For some reason, I see a
lot of credibility coming from a chemist and a company, that produces
millions of pounds of mayonnaise every year.’
Also, dogs should never eat onions. Their stomachs cannot metabolise onions.
Pop star Elton John and longtime partner David Furnish are planning to adopt a Ukrainian child named Lev. The gay couple met Lev at an orphanage where many of 
the children’s parents have died from AIDS.
Elton John informed reporters in Ukraine that Furnish has wanted to adopt a kid but he was hesitant to do it til he met Lev. “David always wanted to adopt a child and I always said ‘no’ because I am 62 and I think because of the traveling I do and the life I have, maybe it wouldn’t be fair for the child,” he claimed.
“But having seen Lev today, I would love to adopt him. I don’t know how we do that but he has stolen my heart. And he has stolen David’s heart and it would be wonderful if we can have a home. I’ve changed my mind today,” added John.
At long last, Lakas-Kampi-Christian Muslim Democrats administration coalition voted Defense Secretary Gibo Teodoro to be the standard bearer this coming 2010 presidential elections.
After what Teodoro declared during the meeting, he was chosen by the administration. “Lakas-KAMPI-CMD was the next logical step in order to serve our country in the best way possible, ” he said.
Furthermore, he stated “It is these principles that we have to bring forward to our people in order for us to create a new Philippines, a strong Philippines” and not only which will give the best to Filipinos but which will be a leader in this part of the world.”
Teodoro won over opponent Metro Manila Development Authority Chairman Bayani Fernando during the secret balloting held at Shangrila Hotel, Mandaluyong City.

Coco Martin, one of the most admired young actors of his generation & one of the cast of the top rating teleserye “Tayong Dalawa”, was injured in an accident while 
shooting an action scene. He, playing the role of wanted criminal, was shooting a gunfight with the police in the said teleserye when the accident occurred.
A hot white powder unintentionally hit his left eye, cheek & upper lip and he immediately fell to the floor in pain.
He was rushed by the crew together with Jake Cuenca & Gerald Anderson to University of Santo Tomas Hospital where he underwent a series of medical tests. Currently, he’s in good condition and recupirating at home.
I just hope for his fast recovery so he could shoot for his final action scenes of “Tayong Dalawa”.
Final Episode of Tayong Dalawa will be on September 25.
Last night, I watched again ABS-CBN’s “Tayong Dalawa” after “May Bukas Pa”. I was really touched and amazed to Coco Martin’s acting with Gina Pareno (Lola Getz) while they were having conversation inside the hospital. 
Lola Getz confessed how she loves her grandson Ramon & informed him that she wanted him to surrender. They had a compassionate & oh-so touching discussion before Lola Getz died in his shoulder.
I was crying a lot while seeing Ramon shedding tears beside his Grandma. He’s really one of the best actors, for me! — so effective, powerful & full of emotions… Bravo bravo bravo …. I totally, admittedly, honestly SALUTE you!
And you know what, if ever given a chance to enter showbizness (again) & fortunate to choose my leading actor, I would definitely prefer Coco Martin to be my partner — coz I am impressed with his acting so much! Love it love it love it…… 😉
Operations at the three terminals of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) are back to normal after hundreds of passengers were stranded & more than a dozen local and international fights were unable to take off from, or land at, the Ninoy Aquino International Airport on Sunday because of problems that resulted from the breakdown of the radar system..
Airport authorities were able to fixed the problem around 4:32 in the morning, Monday. “Flights are now being lined up for departure and arrival as radar is already available. There would be an interval of five minutes per flight,” Media affairs officer Connie Bungag of the Manila International Airport Auuthority said.
Passengers who have flights on Monday have been advised to inquire about their flight schedules.
Tirso Serrano, Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) assistant general manager for airport development and corporate affairs, reported that they are working to ensure the problem does not happen again.
Last week, September 5 we went to Vienne Church in Hinulugang Taktak, Antipolo to join the sisters celebrating the Feast Day of Mother Teresa.
When we arrived, there’s so many people especially children, pregnant women, brothers, sisters, priests & even bishop Gabriel Reyes who conduct the mass were also present there.
I looked for Sister Bethelina of Missionary of Mother Teresa since she was the one who invited us to be one of their guests. We’ve met a month ago, when we decided to share something to their charity.
During the mass, I enjoyed the whole ceremony especially bishop’s homily when he talks about the boy asked by an elder. Seems like the boy was so smart everytime he was challenged by the man. And while bishop telling story about the boy, he’s also trying to get the attention of all — & that makes the crowd participate. Furthermore, I also love how the choir members sang the songs… They blend so well and the music was so relaxing.
After the mass, we ate together & got along with the guests, we also got the chance to know each other. At this very moment, we’re now friends and will be friends forever… 🙂
